We adore SEO because it is the perfect way to improve your digital presence and provide multiple benefits for a brand.

However, we don’t just love SEO because of how much it can boost a business; we’re also into SEO because it is an enjoyable and rewarding discipline that we believe many people should start to consider getting into as a career path. There are many reasons why we think this and why we encourage anyone with an interest in digital marketing to go down the SEO route.

So, this Valentine’s season, we suggest that you enter into a healthy and rewarding relationship with search engine optimisation and join countless other people who are already loving SEO. Here’s why:

SEO Is The Best Way To Grow A Digital Presence

For any company or brand to succeed in the modern-day, it’s going to need to obtain a healthy internet presence, fast. Most people often go down the social media route to do this and try to harbour an audience base. Although that is a good, useful aspect of digital marketing, it will never be that effective if there’s no, well-optimised website for all that social content to link to.

This is where SEO comes in. By implementing many different techniques and practices, this process can help boost your website and make it a lot nicer experience for users to navigate who are coming from your social pages. Furthermore, using SEO and optimising your content for targeted keywords that potential customers could be searching for also helps generate another avenue for customers to find your brand – organic search.

The better your SEO, the more likely your brand is to rank on the top page of Google, meaning that your website will be exposed to more people and have an increased chance of getting clicked on by more people. This, in turn, can significantly help you build your brand and become an authority figure within your niche market.

SEO is the number one thing anyone on the internet should be applying to help them be seen, ranging from bloggers, businesses, and influencers alike.

It’s In Demand

Digital marketing, as a whole, is becoming an increasingly popular activity for businesses, meaning that there is an ever-growing demand for personnel who are skilled in these practices. Learning SEO and pursuing it as a career gives you more opportunities to earn and get into a competitive and exciting role.

Most businesses have started to deploy or create their own digital marketing department; however, it’s expected that more will begin to realise the value of SEO and begin to isolate SEO from this department, making it stand alone as its own, vital division of a business. Therefore, learning SEO is a great specialty to obtain as it can help you become far more employable.

SEO Is Challenging And Rewarding

When in work, you want to find a role that isn’t too hard where you’re continuously stressed, but you also want to find a position that engages you enough where it’s not a tedious slog. SEO is the perfect middle ground between these two things, as it provides enough daily challenge and variety without it becoming overwhelming.

The reason this is the case is that the landscape of SEO is continuously changing and evolving, as new practices and techniques are developed and discovered all the time, making it a really adaptive and exciting discipline to get involved with. Furthermore, the Google algorithm that dictates how well SEO content does is also regularly tweaked and changed, meaning that SEO experts also have to navigate these developments. This makes SEO a fun, varied role that everyone with interest in digital marketing should pursue.
