Structured Snippets is a SERP (Search Engine Results Pages) Feature that is sometimes attached to individual search results. This feature is designed to display key information that might be of interested to a web user about the landing pages that feature at the top of organic search results pages.
For instance, Structured Snippets might show data on the date of events, the rating of a movie, the genre of an art piece, and other key information that will help the web user know which page to navigate to. These snippets are pulled from the webpage itself and should therefore be labelled accordingly for Google’s bots to index and display accurately.
