The crawl rate of a website is the number of connections that a Googlebot will use to crawl through a website, and the time between each visit to the website for a subsequent crawl. Websites that are fast and dynamic will usually feature a higher crawl rate, while those that are slower, or feature a high volume of errors, will have a slower crawl rate.
In general, if a website has a higher crawl rate it is more likely to be correctly indexed at a quicker rate. As such, websites with a high crawl rate will change page rank more frequently after SEO changes.
