Java

Server Responses

Java, or Javascript, is a programming language used to create and support web elements that are dynamic and interactive. It’s widely used across modern websites, including those created on website builders such as WordPress and Wix.

Using Javascript does not affect a website’s SEO but using the programming language wisely can enhance a webpage’s technical SEO (search engine optimisation). Learning how to clean up your Java can therefore give your webpages a better chance of being found, read, indexed and ranked by Google’s crawling algorithms.

The objective of technical SEO using Javascript is to ensure that the script is readable by Google. Technically, this means ensuring elements and attributes are correctly inputted so that Google’s ranking crawlers are able to swiftly pass through the code, understanding the elements present on any given webpage.

In order to ensure that your website’s Javascript is not harming your technical SEO, you can use tools such as Google’s Search Console or Rich Results Tester in order to debug your current code. The purpose of these tools is to help web users understand flaws in their current code so that they can address them and present the best possible webpages to Google’s algorithms.
