Quick Answers is a Google SERP Feature that will appear at the top of search engine results when a certain query has been inputted that appears to demand a response to a question. For instance, if a user types “How old is X” into the search bar, a Direct Answer box will usually appear revealing the answer without the user having to access a webpage.
Quick Answers can be broken down into several categories, including queries about the weather, word definitions, calculations, unit and currency conversions, sports trivia, and quick facts. They’re all designed to instantly provide answers to common questions posed by web users.
