Bookmarks

NavigationUser Experience

On a web browser, a bookmark is a shortcut to a specific web page saved by a web user. They’re also sometimes referred to as favourites, depending on the browser used. Bookmarks or favourites are used to help web users quickly access the web pages they visit the most – be they blogs, e-commerce sites, or social media pages.

Browsers allow web users to organise their bookmarks in a bar beneath the URL window. Web users can also collect bookmarks into folders, organising dozens and sometimes hundreds into different easily accessed folders. This helps web users access resources they want to have at their fingertips when they fire up their browser.
