Google’s Promotion of Search Generative Experience (SGE) In Traditional SERPs
Google has removed How-To rich results from the results pages and is now displaying its AI SGE results in the traditional SERPs as a banner.

Links Are No Longer A Top Three Rankings Signal
In a Q&A session, Google Search team analyst Gary Illyes was asked about the importance of link buildingLink building is a process of acquiring links pointing to your website. “I think they are important, but I think people overestimate the importance of links. I don’t agree it’s in the top three. It hasn’t been for some time.”
