You might have heard it’s our 10th birthday, and as we turn the big 1-0, we’re in full party mode!
When we launched Click Intelligence in 2013, we aimed to help businesses across as many industries as possible grow their online presence and deliver fantastic results. Our expertise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC), and Content Marketing has allowed us to do just that!
As well as delivering a 5-star service and impressive results to our clients, we’ve experienced lots of growth and achievements along the way that have helped fuel our drive and ambition to be the best.
This month, we’re looking back at the business achievements we are the most proud of as we celebrate our 10 year company milestone.
At Click Intelligence, we recognise that our fabulous teams are at the heart of our success. Over the past decade, we’ve committed ourselves to nurturing an inclusive company culture where everyone feels supported and respected.
We’re proud to provide a culture that supports our team members’ mental wellbeing. Our line managers operate an open-door policy where employees are free to talk about anything they need to in a safe space.
Here is a snippet of how we’ve been able to create a company culture to shout about!
Remote working during the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of having a healthy work-life balance. We acknowledged that remote work allowed our employees to switch off and unwind quicker than when commuting to and from the office. That’s why we’ve moved to a permanent hybrid working model since restrictions were lifted. Our office team spends 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home per week, so our employees enjoy the social and collaborative side of being in an office and the work-life balance of home working.
HR Star’s HR team has helped us to introduce wellness principles to the company, develop our staff through technical competency assessments, and provide dedicated 1-2-1s to help our staff. As well as this, we have an external mental health first aider on hand who our teams can contact when needed to help with stress management or anything else that life throws their way.
To minimise any health or wellbeing concerns our employees may have, our NHS Top-Up scheme gives them access to appointments and second opinions when needed. The scheme also provides a contribution towards the cost of eye tests, glasses, hospital parking, talking therapies, osteopathy, and CBT, to name a few.
Our quarterly team events are something everyone at Click Intelligence looks forward to. It’s a great opportunity for our remote and in-house teams to get together and have a laugh! On social days we work in the morning and then log off to spend the afternoon together. We usually kick things off with a delicious team lunch before heading onto a super fun activity. Bowling, interactive darts, and garden games are some of the recent activities we’ve enjoyed!

Our team has grown massively in the last 10 years! We started off as a team of 2 in 2013 with our co-founders and directors James Owen and Simon Brisk. Now, we boast an incredible team of more than 150 people! This includes our network of more than 70 incredible content freelancers that help us to create a whopping 2,500 pieces of content for our clients every month! Impressive, right?
As we’ve got bigger, our teams and their expertise have too! Team development is important, and that’s why we provide the training and development resources needed to provide the skills and knowledge for all of our teams to continue to thrive, from SEO to Content, Sales, and Marketing. We moved into a bigger, flashier office last year to accommodate our growing in-house teams, and we have the infrastructure in place to enable members to work remotely from across the globe with people based in Turkey, France, and Portugal!
As the years have gone by, our client base and the industries we help have grown exponentially. At Click Intelligence, we take a client-first approach, and we’re proud of that, to really determine your needs and pinpoint how we can help you race up the search engine results pages (SERPs)! Before we get to work on your campaign, our dedicated Account Managers will sit down with you to confirm your requirements and clearly set out the steps we’ll take to get you there. All of this has contributed to our 97% client retention rate across more than 40 sectors.
Supporting the local and wider international community is important to us at Click Intelligence. Despite the challenges the world is facing right now, our growth has fortunately continued to grow. That’s why we’re always trying to do more to support charities whenever we can. We’ve even set up our very own Click Intelligence Charity Committee to maintain our charitable efforts.

We are passionate about corporate responsibility and appreciate the role companies have to play in the UK’s goal of reducing emissions by 78% by 2035. The environment forms a big part of our Sustainability Impact Strategy which you can read online.
Hybrid and remote working, being paperless, conducting 95% of meetings via online platforms, and offering 100% digital services are just some of the ways we can cut our emissions and support the environment.
In July 2022, we partnered with Ecologi to help offset our carbon footprint, plant new trees, and support other climate projects every month. We have our very own virtual forest, where we’ve planted over 100 trees so far!

At Click Intelligence, we believe that change is something to embrace, not fear. In November 2022, our Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) was born. The EOT was brought in to safeguard jobs, provide employment opportunities, and allow the business to grow. The benefits of this new ownership model that we’re proud of are that it enables us to protect the business’ independence and pay tax-free bonuses to our workforce to show them we care and value their efforts to our continued success.
