How to Set Up Google My Business
To set up Google My Business, all you will need to do is follow this easy guide:
1. Log In to Your Business’ Google Account

Once you have started a new listing, you will need to add address details. Do make a note of how you write this address. You will want to use the same format on all future listings and edits.
4. Address Options to Choose From
You have a few choices when it comes to your business address. You can state whether you deliver to a region, rather than have people come to your store. You can also put in a home address. In both of these cases, you can hide this address. Google will then only display the region you work from. It will need your address, however, to verify your business.
5. Choose Your Business Type
There will be a list of categories. Try to be as accurate as possible.
6. Add Online Details

7. Choose How You Want to Verify Your Business
Google My Business works for physical stores, and you will need to verify that your business operates from the address you have chosen. There are a few ways you can verify.
Postcard
In this option, a postcard with a verification code will be sent to your work address. It can take a few days to arrive. Once you get it, go online back to Google My Business and verify your company’s address.
Phone Verification
If you have a landline that is connected to the address in question, you might be able to verify your business this way. Google will send a text (for landlines, this will come in the form of a phone call with an automated voice) of the verification code. Copy it down and go online to verify.
Email Verification
In a few circumstances, you will be able to verify by email. This is the same process as any email verification, where you go to your business email and retrieve the code. This is not available for new businesses.
Instant Verification
If you have already verified your business with your Google account on another Google tool, like Google Search Console, you might be able to be instantly verified.
Bulk Verification
